MONDAY TO FRIDAY – 8.00AM TO 4.30PM
Essential to the day-to-day operation of a successful manufacturing company we now require an additional cleaner. Areas worked will cover factory floor, moulding machines, yard and toilet facilities, which will include ladder work and some heavy lifting. Previous experience of using a road sweeper or light machinery would be advantageous. A flexible and positive attitude to work is essential.
DAY SHIFT – 7.00AM TO 3.00PM
You’ll be responsible for the movement and organising of work in the packing department, reporting to the Department Supervisor. The role involves using computers to set printer information, using scanners, setting and loading packing machines with the correct products to ensure continuous running and keeping all machines supplied with the correct consumable items. Responsible for the quality and accuracy of work, you must be able to understand and complete documentation and be expected to carry out basic repairs to machinery as well as to hand, machine and bulk pack when required. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical experience and have computer and organisational skills.
FORKLIFT TRUCK DRIVERS/GENERAL HAND
Day shift: 7am to 3pm
Evening shift: 3pm to 11pm
You need to be hard working, self-motivated, flexible and able to work using your own initiative. With good communication skills and the ability to use computers and scanners, you will be responsible for all documentation required in respect of allocating, issuing and booking work in and out. With an understanding of works order routings, you will load packing machines with the ability to pack finished products by machine or hand. You will also be required to organise the loading of pallets for movement to other departments and the loading and unloading of work to vehicles.
Experience of driving a counterbalance forklift is an essential requirement for this role and you must possess a full UK driver’s licence.
Late shift – 3.00pm to 11.00pm (Monday to Friday)
Applicants with nimble fingers who can operate light, clean, small machines and also hand assemble our range of plastic components, are needed for our very modern factory. Applicants are required to have good verbal and written communication skills and previous assembly experience would be advantageous.
Day shift – 07.00 hrs to 19.00 hrs
Night shift – 19.00hrs to 07.00hrs
28 day continental rota system
(approx 41.125 hours per week)
This role is responsible for manufactured parts and product movement and your duties will include the assembly of products manually and using automatic machines, quality checks, quality testing and ensuring that all works orders are accompanied by the correct documentation. Operating the machines to achieve maximum output you will report all deviations from the specification to the Supervisor or deputy and assist in the movement of work throughout the department. Carrying out duties within the department in accordance with all Health and Safety requirements is essential.
Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
LATE SHIFT 3.00PM TO 11.00PM
This role will require individuals to undertake simple assembly of plastic fittings to a high standard with the use of specialist tools.
Interviews will be conducted in Launceston.
The salary on offer is £8.96 per hour on production target earnings.
PART-TIME TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATOR
Monday to Friday – 9.00am to 1.00pm
(Bumpers Farm, Bumpers Way, Chippenham)
Providing comprehensive support to the design team
Your main duties will be as follows:
- Dealing with correspondence and telephone calls.
- Checking incoming building plans/drawings.
- Preparing job files for designers.
- Maintaining project registers.
- Liaising with the UK sales force and customers.
- General office duties.
Every day will bring different challenges so to join us you will need to be enthusiastic with a flexible approach, have previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role and a high level of computer skills (including the Microsoft Office suite). Impressive attention to detail and literacy skills are essential for this role along with an excellent telephone manner.
