Black Acetal Fittings – PM Range (Air)
Style and Description
For Compressed Air & Inert Gases
The PM Range of metric size fittings is manufactured in black acetal copolymer with food grade nitrile O-Rings. The 12mm to 28mm sizes in the PM range are especially suited to Compressed Air applications. The push-fit fittings and pipe means a compressed air system can be installed quickly and easily, with significantly reduced production down time. It is also easy to rearrange and extend a system.

Installation Instructions (28mm Fittings)

Step 1
Prepare the Pipe
Ensure the pipe is free of score marks. Cut the pipe square. We recommend the use of JG Pipe Cutters.
DO NOT use a hacksaw. To prevent damage to the O-Ring, remove all burrs and sharp edges

Step 2
Push to Pipe Stop
Push the pipe into the fitting, to the pipe stop.

Step 3
Twist & Lock to Secure
After inserting the pipe, a screw cap is turned approx 1/4 turn. This locks the collet in place and reduces lateral and sideways movement of the pipe.
Water Trap Tee & Convertor

Water Trap Tee
Installation
It is of vital importance, for the correct function of the Water Trap Tee, that the air distribution system be nearly horizontal, and that the outlet port be facing downwards.

Convertor Installation – Step 1
Prepare the Pipe & Fit
Use either John Guest 28mm nylon pipe or 28mm copper pipe. The pipe must be cut square, and be free of burrs.
Press the shorter spigot into the pipe. The fit on copper pipe will be loose. This will not affect the function.

Convertor Installation – Step 2
Push Up to Pipe Stop & Screw
Push the pipe and converter up to the pipe stop of the centre leg of the tee. Turn the screw cap approx 1/4 turn to lock the pipe in position
Troubleshooting

Do not use a hacksaw to cut the pipe.
This will leave unwanted burrs on the end of the pipe.

Do not use damage or scored pipe.
Score marks can cause leaks past the O-Ring.

How to Disconnect

Quick Disconnect
Push in Collet and Remove Tube
To disconnect, ensure the system is depressurized, push the collet square against the fitting.
With the collet held in this position the pipe can be removed.
