JG Speedfit is one of the first to achieve BSI Regulation 4 Kitemark Certification
JG Speedfit, part of the RWC family of brands, is proud to announce it has been awarded Regulation 4 Kitemark CertificationTM by the BSI for the safe, compliant and high-quality manufacturing of water fittings used in domestic properties in the UK.
This Regulation 4 Kitemark CertificationTM demonstrates that JG Speedfit plumbing and heating products meets and is in compliance with: The requirements of Regulation 4 of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 in England & Wales; The Water Supply (Water Fittings) (Scotland) Byelaws 2014, and Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009.
Being awarded this certification, ahead of the scheme’s official launch on 23rd October 2024, marked a significant achievement for RWC, making it one of the first companies in the industry to receive this recognition.
The BSI Regulation 4 Kitemark Certification applies to the following JG Speedfit products:
- Twist & Lock Fittings and Tap Connectors (product codes prefix PEM)
- Pipe Repair Kits (product codes suffix RKP)
- Slip Tee Connectors (product codes suffix TKP)
- Plastic Plumbing Manifolds (product codes prefix PEM5 and SFM5)
- Female Couplers, Stop Ends, Plugs and Conversion Connectors (product codes prefix PSE3, PSE4, PL and NC)
- Pipe Inserts (product codes prefix TSM and STS)
- JG Layflat Polybutylene Pipe (all BPB pipe)
- JG Speedfit PEX Barrier Pipe (all PEX pipe)
