RWC awarded with the Harlington School Governor Community Award

James Basey with the Governor Community Award

Following on from the commencement of their partnership with Harlington School in October 2021, RWC is delighted to announce that they have been awarded the Governor Community Award by the school. This is a reflection of the initiatives RWC have been working on with the school such as appointing a new school governor, providing work experience opportunities, supporting the Outward Bound Trust, as well as participating in career fairs. Reflecting on the night, James said, ‘Charles painted a great picture to all of the parents, students, and the local Deputy Mayor, covering all of our great work and amazing partnership – it was the longest speech of the night.’

As a result of their partnership with Harlington School, RWC is making a significant impact on the students and looks forward to working together on more projects in the future. Particularly, new programmes which include community work, equipment funding, leadership module training, and coaching and mentoring.
