1. Information about us
   1. This competition is being run and promoted by Reliance Worldwide Corporation (UK) Limited (referred to as “we”, “us”, “our” in these Conditions).
   2. Our registered office is at Horton Road, West Drayton, Middlesex, UB7 8JL.
   3. You can contact us in relation to this competition using the following methods:
      1. by messaging us on one of our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn);

2. The competition
   1. The title of the competition is the “JG Underfloor Photo and Video Competition” (the “Competition”).
   2. The Competition will be advertised and promoted on our JG Speedfit social media platforms, by email marketing and at stockist trade mornings. The rules which apply to the Competition are as set out in these terms and conditions (the “Conditions”).
   3. The Competition is aimed at end-users of our products (“you”, “your”), and will offer the opportunity for you to win a prize at the end of the Competition period.
      
      The Competition will run from 1 September 2023 to 30 November 2023 (the “Competition Period”). Entries must be made by no later than 11:59pm (UK time) on the final day of the Competition Period (“Closing Date”). All entries received after such time on the relevant Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
      
       
3. How to enter
   1. In order to enter the Competition, prior to the deadline specified in clause 2.3 above, you will need to do one of the following:
      1. On JG Speedfit’s Facebook page, upload your photo or video to the pinned competition post as a comment, using the hashtag #WinWithJGUnderfloor
      2. Email your JG Underfloor heating installation photo or video to [email protected], along with your name, company name and permission for us to publish on our social media platforms on your behalf.
   2. Do not submit any photo or video that could be deemed rude or offensive or that violates Facebook’s Terms of Use or Statement of Rights and Responsibilities. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the judges, includes objectionable content.
   3. The photo or video submitted must have the permission of all individuals in the photo before it is entered in the Competition, and the entrant must own the copyright of the image it submits and warrants us that it has obtained all relevant consents of third persons contained in the image with respect to the use and publication of the image.
   4. Entrants confirm and promise that their entry is an original and unpublished work and does not infringe the rights of any other person.
   5. There is no limit to the number of entries you are permitted to make, provided that those entries are made prior to the deadline set out in 2.3 above.
   6.  Entry in the Competition is free (excluding internet connection charges).
   7. We will not accept responsibility for Competition entries that are deleted or are otherwise unavailable to be viewed by us regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any technical malfunction, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
   8. By submitting an entry to any part of the Competition, you are agreeing to be bound by these Conditions.
      
       
4. Deciding The Winner
   
   After the Closing Date, the winner will be selected by a panel of judges based on the technical skill, originality and creativity of the entry. The judging will be carried out by us as soon as possible following the end of the Competition Period.
   
    
5. Eligibility
   1. The Competition is open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over except:
      1. our employees or any employees of other companies within our group; or
      2. members of the immediate families or households of 5.1.1 above.
   2. In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.
   3. We will not accept Competition entries that are:
      1. automatically generated by computer; or
      2. completed by third parties or in bulk (being more than five unique entries at one time).
   4. We reserve all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Competition.
      
       
6. The prizes
   1. The prize for the winner of the Competition is 1 x  £500 Love2Shop digital gift card.
   2. Prizes are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute the prizes with items of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
   3. The prizes are not negotiable or transferable.
      
       
7. Winners
   1. The decision of the judges nominated by us is final and no correspondence or discussion in relation to the judges’ decision will be entered into.
   2. Once a winner has been selected, we will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable via direct message on Facebook.
   3. We are required to either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation we will publish the name of the winner entry within one month of the Closing Date of the Competition.
   4. If you object to any or all of your name and winning entry being published or made available, please contact us using the details set out in clause 1.3 above. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
      
       
8. Claiming the prize
   1. In order to claim the prize you must respond to our message on Facebook when we contact you to confirm that you are a winner. You must also provide your full name, company name, telephone number and email address in order for us to send the prize to you.
   2. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within two weeks of our message on Facebook, we reserve the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the entries that were received before the relevant Closing Date.
   3. Please allow 14-21 days for delivery of the prize after you have claimed it and provided your contact details in accordance with clause 8.1 above.
   4. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
   5. We do not accept any responsibility if you are not able to claim the prize.
      
       
9. Limitation of liability
   
   Insofar as is permitted by law, neither us, nor our agents or distributors, will in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up their prize except where it is caused by our negligence, or the negligence of our agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
   
    
10. Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights
    1. All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to us will become our property on receipt.
    2. By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
       1. assign to us all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
       2. waive all moral rights, in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
    3. You agree that we may, but are not required to, make your entry available on our website, www.johnguest.com, and any other social media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the Competition.
       
        
11. Data protection and publicity
    1. We will only process your personal information as set out in our Prize Competition Privacy Notice, which is available for you to view here:

12. General
    1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Conditions, we may, at our sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Competition (or any running of it).
    2. We reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition (or any running of it) where it becomes necessary to do so.
    3. These Conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
