RWC targets manufacturing efficiency with second solar panel installation
RWC has completed a large-scale solar panel installation at its West Drayton manufacturing facility. The installation follows a similar project at the company’s Launceston site, marking a significant milestone in RWC’s commitment to achieving its emissions sustainability goals decreasing market-based Scope 2 Green House Gas (GHG) emissions.
The solar panel system is expected to deliver around 8% of the total power consumed on site annually, significantly reducing reliance on traditional energy sources and cutting the carbon footprint associated with manufacturing activities. Alongside the environmental benefits of the solar installation, RWC’s investment is futureproofing its UK operations with cost effective energy production, helping to maintain energy costs over the long term.
RWC’s investment in renewable technologies demonstrates its dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship. This significant milestone underscores RWC's ongoing efforts to integrate sustainable practices into its operations while delivering market-leading solutions for the plumbing and heating industry.
As the company continues to innovate and invest in renewable energy solutions, it solidifies its position as a forward-thinking leader in sustainability within the UK and beyond.
