Keen race fans will recognize the JG Speedfit name, with the company having formerly sponsored a team in the British Touring Car Championship before moving into two wheels in 2013, when they sponsored a team in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship – the same series in which GBmoto first forged their name.

With the GBmoto team rapidly progressing through the ranks of the MCE British Superbike Championship, 2014 saw them cement themselves as one of the strongest in the country. Now entering their second season as the officially supported Kawasaki entry, the JG Speedfit Kawasaki team as it will be known are looking to take another step forward and claim the prestigious title.

Attracted by the team’s professionalism and return on sponsorship investment, JG Speedfit are looking to utilise their partnership to showcase products, entertain customers and bring the excitement of motorcycle racing to their sales campaigns.

Headquartered in West Drayton, this British brand enjoys a truly global presence with offices in Asia, Europe, North America and the Pacific. Leaders in the field of push-in fittings, as well as Plastic Plumbing Systems and Underfloor Heating their products are used in a variety of industries and applications, including Drinks Dispensers, Plumbing, Pneumatics, Compressed Air Systems, Water Purification and even Automotive and Telecommunications.

The JG Speedfit Kawasaki will be officially unveiled on the opening day (November 22nd) of the 2015 Motorcycle Live Show at the NEC. Already announced rider James Ellison will be in attendance, while negotiations on the team’s second rider are still on going and will be revealed shortly. See the unveiling video here

Speaking on the new partnership, Mike Riseley, UK Director of Sales at JG Speedfitcommented, “We’re really excited to be associated with such a professional and ambitious team as GBmoto and are thoroughly looking forward to joining them on their 2015 BSB title campaign

We’ve had a historic association with motorsport, mainly on 4 wheels, but stepped into the BSB paddock for the first time a couple of years ago sponsoring a team in the British Superstock 1000 Championship. We spent this time evaluating if motorcycle-racing sponsorship had a good affinity with our brand and determined it clearly does in terms of elevating brand awareness and identity, so it was a natural step up to the British Superbike class for 2015.

The GBmoto squad offer great opportunities for us in terms of B2B marketing, hospitality and extra events for our installers, specifiers and stockists to enjoy.”

JG Speedfit Kawasaki Team Principal Mark Smith-Halvorsen added, “It’s great news that we have joined forces with JG Speedfit as a new title sponsor for GBmoto Racing – at a time when we are hard preparing for a full on assault on the 2015 BSB title. There have already been many conversations and meetings to get this right, and during that process we have not only seen what a professional and hugely experienced business they have, but also just how much we share in terms of dedication, drive and the pursuit of excellence.

We have already agreed the structure for lots of their customers, suppliers and staff to benefit from this relationship and whilst our focus will be 100% on improving our package for next year’s testing and racing, we are also excited about this new partnership, our new livery and what it will mean to us in the long term.

I look forward to not only helping to promote and support their brand, but also to regularly seeing it at the front of the British Superbike series throughout 2015.”
